One of the aspects of wedding photography that we love so much is the creation process. We love taking what our brides have thoughtfully planned out for a year and bringing it to life in our photos. We spend a good bit of a wedding day making sure that we have photos of all the details because we believe it’s the small things that make a wedding unique.
We’ve decided to do a styled session in each season of the year to give our brides inspiration on what details they can include in their own wedding days. Below, you’ll see images that we put together that are merely examples of what brides could bring on their wedding day…
How fun would it be to have a champagne toast with all of your bridesmaids before you put on your wedding dress, especially if you get to drink from fancy champagne flutes on a beautiful golden tray?
Wouldn’t it be special if you could have a picture of the shoes you are going to wear to marry your best friend, and wouldn’t it be cool if instead of describing them to your granddaughter one day, you could pull out your wedding album and show her? We think so.
Not only is it helpful to provide details such as jewelry, shoes, and invitations for us to snap pictures of, it’s also helpful if you bring a few things that will help us style your special details to match your day. All weddings require some of the same items- rings, a dress, invitations, but it’s what YOU add to those seemingly ordinary things that make your day extraordinarily YOURS. You could ask your florist to save the loose florals they had left over or even save some ribbon you’ve used while decorating somewhere else. Many of our brides also bring a beautiful ring box to showcase the rings. You can even bring a unique vase to keep your bouquet nice a watered while also elevating it’s style.
Regardless of the vibe of your wedding, whether it’s soft and romantic or more rustic, we want to capture the little things that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
Stay tuned for more of our styled sessions!
