We want to create an experience for families that would love heirloom quality photos of their kids with Santa. This is for families that don’t love the idea of standing in an over-crowded store just to get rushed through for 5 seconds with Santa! We want to create a more private and personalized experience and would love to make this a holiday tradition!

This event provides a safe, relaxed, and private opportunity for your child to meet the real Santa, one-on-one at Mulberry Mill in Dickson, TN. In addition to meeting the big man, you can also grab your holiday family portraits while you are there with our second studio backdrop for a family Christmas card!

Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SANTA EXPERIENCE AND HOW DOES THIS ALL WORK?

The Santa Experience is a limited edition portrait session. Each session must be reserved by booking your selected date and time slot. Your session will include a reservation in which you will meet Santa. While your child talks to Santa, goes over their “list,” etc., we will be snapping away, capturing those genuine interactions while also documenting some great shots with everyone looking and smiling at the camera. Before you go, you will receive a box of designer treats created exclusively for this event! Within 2 weeks of your session, you will receive your digital photos via a private online viewing gallery. The session price includes FIVE images from your session!

WHAT IS THE PRICING STRUCTURE?

Your session fee includes 5 high resolution digital images from your session. You will receive a private viewing gallery of approximately 20 edited images to choose from. You may then select (heart) which 5 images are the “keepers.” We will then make those chosen images available for you to download.

You can expect to see:

• Santa Lap Photos – candid and posed of each child or family
• Child or family photos with a different backdrop

HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION LAST?

Sessions can last up to 15 mins in length. During this time, your child will be able to interact with Santa 1:1, while I capture the moment. Due to the scheduling of these sessions, it is extremely important to arrive early. We recommend arriving at least 15-20 mins before your session time, to allow your child to warm up and to ensure you are ready when it’s your turn. We will have our helpful elves on site directing you and managing our reservation times so we stay on schedule.

CAN WE GET A FAMILY PHOTO AT THE SAME APPOINTMENT?

These sessions are whatever you make them! Want to get all dolled up and get a nice shot of the entire family – GREAT! Want to all show up in matching jammies and get a photo without Santa – GREAT! Want beautiful images of just the kids – GREAT! We have 15 minutes – which we know doesn’t sound like a whole lot, but believe me – We get A LOT accomplished in that timeframe. We have created two separate sets for this experience, so you can get a good variety of images to choose from! A couple other details: These sessions are for immediate families only, one session per family! Want an extended family or cousins photo – book your separate sessions back to back!

WHAT IF MY CHILD CRIES?

Depending on your child’s age, this can be a real concern for parents. We get it because stranger danger! We promise you that I will do everything possible to get beautiful images with Santa, and if that’s not possible, we can also take individual portraits of your child alone (without Santa). Kids are so unpredictable, so my best advice is to embrace whatever happens. Sometimes the crying photos turn out to be our favorites, years later! Please keep in mind – We will not be able to reschedule or refund your session if you aren’t happy with your child’s reaction to Santa.

HOW CAN I BEST PREPARE MY CHILD?

It is our goal to make sure this session is a positive experience for your child, and to create a new tradition for your family! We recommend introducing Santa to your child before our session – by reading them books, showing them photos or movies, and talking up the upcoming session! If your child is old enough, encourage them to bring a list for Santa – we can use it in the photos! We will also have an opportunity for kids to write a letter to Santa the day of the session.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR CHANGE MY MIND?

These mini sessions are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once booked. However, you can give your time to another family who wants to take your spot.
