Long Hunter State Park Engagement

Engagements

October 20, 2021

Mikayla and Indiana’s engagement session was a little different than our regular sessions. First of all, we met Mikayla and Indiana on a Friday evening for their session. Typically, we reserve weekends for all of our sessions. We had scheduled their session twice before for a Saturday. However, due to weather and family reasons, it had to be rescheduled. Mikayla and Indiana are getting married in just a few weeks, so Friday was the only day we both could make it work to get their engagement photos done in time. We all battled rush hour traffic in Nashville to get there on time. With all of the rescheduling and traffic, we not only wanted to make sure we captured beautiful images for Mikayla and Indiana, but we also wanted to make sure their engagement session was fun and stress free! We had such a blast hanging out with Mikayla and Indiana. Once we all got there, we played music and spent the next hour and a half getting to know more about them! We felt that we were able to accomplish our goals of making the session enjoyable! We truly love each and every one of our clients, and we always want them to have fun while taking pictures.

It was our first time shooting at Long Hunter State Park. We were able to arrive a few minutes early to scout locations. As soon as we entered the park, we spotted an open field just past the visitor’s center. We immediately knew that this would be perfect. With Mikayla’s beautiful long dress and the wide open field, we felt all of the Pride and Prejudice vibes. Also, Mikayla and Indiana are naturals in front of the camera. They didn’t require much instruction, as they quickly picked up on our posing! We were so impressed!

Mikayla and Indiana, we are so excited for your wedding! You two are so sweet, and we just know your day will be beautiful! Enjoy some of our favorites from your session!
