A couple of weeks ago, we drove to Lexington, Kentucky to photograph my husband’s, cousin’s wedding. It was a quick trip; we left late on a Wednesday and drove back Thursday night after the wedding. Although, it was a very short trip, it was still incredibly special for us to watch Kathryn and Logan tie the knot at Evans Orchard’s Event Barn in Lexington, Kentucky. We love traveling to Kentucky for weddings. It was our first time shooting at Evan’s Orchard, and we LOVED it! Evan’s Orchard is gorgeous! We loved the outside of the barn, the fencing that surrounds the barn, and the silo right next to it. Not to mention, the venue was surrounded by rows and rows of apple trees! Need I say more?? I sincerely hope that we get to visit Evan’s Orchard again in the future!

We’ve been really lucky so far this year with the weather on our wedding days. All of our Fall weddings this year have had perfect weather, and Kathryn and Logan’s was no different. It was in the 70’s and partly cloudy for most of the day. It did rain a little bit towards the end for just a few minutes. However, the rain was followed by a double rainbow! I told Kathryn, as we were finishing up pictures, that they were receiving all the blessings on their wedding day between just a little bit of rain and the two rainbows.

Kathryn and Logan, we love you both so much! We love your family and your story. You and Logan are perfect together, and we are so so happy for you both. We wish you a lifetime of happiness, and we can’t wait to see where you go next! Enjoy some of our favorite images from your day!
