They stood alone. In front of the beautiful venue they expertly chose together months before. Though the air was frigid, for this minute, they were warm and cozy from the inside out. Smiles so big their faces are shaking. Cheeks wet with tears… Their voices wavered slightly in nervous excitement as they read handwritten vows they just wrote days before.

Cassie and Kaleb were two of the lucky ones who met one another in high school. They’ve gotten to go through all of the awkward years together, and have emerged into adulthood as two gorgeous, fun- loving, not afraid to be a little silly people . They’ve grown together in the most beautiful way.

As Kaleb’s father reminded us as he married them. Marriage isn’t hard. LIFE is hard. It’s your job as a husband and a wife to CHOOSE to love one another through whatever life throws your way. We have no doubt that Cassie and Kaleb are up for the challenge… no matter where life takes them, we can picture them dancing through it together in their matching converse to the best song.

What a privilege is it has been to watch these two start their journey together… Hannah and I started our wedding photography business for couples just like them. One of our goals was to give our couples beautiful wedding galleries, but what we really, truly prayed for was to make friends with our couples. To encourage them. To love them. To remind them that their wedding will be a beautiful memory, but the marriage is the most important part. We’ve only known these two for a year or so, but we can’t tell you how many times, we’ve said how happy we are that we got to work with them.

Cassie and Kaleb,

You two are incredible people on your own, but together you are truly inspiring. We are so proud to call you our friends. Although we may not to get to hangout again for a while, trust us, our voices are the loudest in the audience cheering you on as you start your lives together. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part in your beautiful love story!

Sending hugs,

Chelsea and Hannah
