Sitting on a wooden church pew, cameras in hand, we watched as the little white church began to fill with warm smiling faces. With each new family that entered the chapel, the excitement and love in the room multiplied. As one person took their seat, another fell right in behind them until there weren’t any seats left. Shortly, only standing room was left and the remaining guests began to fill in the back of the church. Just as the tiny white church was about to burst, the ushers began to seat Jordan and Jared’s parents and grandparents, the people who made this special day possible by finding and loving one another.
After they were seated, a beautiful hymn rang out of the piano as Jared and his groomsmen, his best friends in the entire world, filed into the church. The anticipation continued to grow as Jordan’s bridesmaids walked into place at the front of the chapel. Just as the maid of honor took her last step and the chapel doors closed, you could hear a pin drop in the room. Jared took his last breath before the doors opened wide and Jordan floated down the aisle in her stunning wedding gown with her Dad at her side.
Prayers were prayed, nervous laughter rang out, vows were said, candles were lit, and a bride was kissed as Jordan and Jared became husband and wife!
Jordan and Jared, thank you so much for inviting us into your love story. Jordan, it was so much fun to getting to know you through your engagement, watch you be a bridesmaid at your best friend, Delaina’s wedding, and become a bride yourself as you married Jared. Jared, thank you for being such a great sport when we told you a million times, “if it feels awkward, it looks great on camera!” You trusted us, and we are so grateful! Congratulations! We can wait to see where your lives go from here!
