5 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

Personal

June 8, 2018

Alot of what I publish is of my work and about anything related to me and Chelsea’s business, but there is more to me than just wedding and portrait photography. So, I wanted to share 5 things you may or may not know about me.

01. I eat gluten free. Most of my family has a gluten allergy. It wasn’t until February of 2018 that I started to go gluten free to see how my body reacted to being without gluten. I instantly saw the results. I lost weight, which is one of the main reasons I wanted to change my eating habits, I had more energy, and I had more confidence. Most importantly, my skin was less itchy, my stomach was less bloated, and I was even sleeping better!! Almost 4 months later, I have not looked back. I love eating gluten free! I don’t have too many restrictions. A lot of what I ate before, I can still eat now just with gluten free flour, but the majority of my diet is now rice, chicken, fruit, and veggies.

02. I love movies! Chelsea and I use to have Cinematic Adventures during high school, which is what we called our Friday Movie Nights. This quickly became a trend our sophomore year of high school. We even loved watching the trailers and judging each one before our current movie started! We were quite the movie critiques! My favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly!! I can quote it!

03. My favorite TV show is Downton Abbey. Chelsea just introduced it to me this year. Knowing my love for Pride and Prejudice, she knew I would love it, and she was right!! I have already watched the entire series twice! Matthew, Tom, Lady Grantham and Sybil will always be my favorite characters on the show!

04. My favorite place to visit is Charleston, SC. Chelsea and I went there for the first time in 2015 and loved it! It is such an inspiring place to visit. Every corner is filled with beautiful flowers and old Victorian homes. Not to mention, it is so close to the ocean! I’d say the Victorian era is my absolute favorite. Plus, I love Spanish Moss. I wanted to grow some in my back yard in Tennessee, but soon realized it will only grow in the Carolina’s. I was so sad!

05. I married my high school sweetheart! I met my husband, JP my junior year of high school. We met in concert choir. He was a baritone and I was a soprano. He is the sweetest, most goofy person I know, and I am so lucky to call him my husband.
