What’s up with First Looks?

Wedding Tips, Weddings

In our previous bridal post, we discussed why it is important to have an engagement session. Engagements are so short, yet it is a beautiful stage in a couple’s life, and the engagement session is a great way to capture this beautiful season. Plus, you have a reason to get dressed up, and who doesn’t love a good excuse to buy a new pair of heels and go out to dinner after with the person you love most. Also, having an engagement session allows you to become more comfortable in front of a camera and learn how to pose in a way that flatters you and your fiance, which ultimately allows your wedding day to be seamless. We want you to have an effortless and stress free wedding day. Today’s email builds on the concept to make your wedding day seamless.

We want our brides to consider a first look.

Doing a first look allows for more portrait time on your wedding day! If portraits (of you and your hubby, your bridal party and your family) are of high importance to you, a first look is a GREAT option to better your timeline and create tons of extra portrait time!

First looks allow the moment to be private and less nerve-racking. Instead of spending the entire day just waiting to see your husband-to-be…you get to see him first and share the moment privately.

You get to spend more time with your groom. If you wait to see him until after you walk down the aisle…you’re not seeing him until halfway through the day or later. But, if you see him beforehand, you get more hours by his side and more time to love on each other during your big day!

You will have most of the photos done before your ceremony, which can get you to your guests as fast as possible!

The Take Away:

We want our brides to consider the idea to do a first look at their wedding. Why? Because it helps to make your wedding day more seamless. A first look can still be romantic and a memorable moment. By doing a first look, you get more time with your groom during the day and more time with your guests after the ceremony.
