Why an In-Person Meeting With Your Wedding Photographer Matters

Engagements, Session Tips, Wedding Tips

September 20, 2017

At Golden Hour Images, we don’t believe it’s all about the pictures, which probably sounds funny considering we are photographers. We believe it’s all about the experience and the relationship that we build with our clients.

We want to meet with you at our favorite coffee shop so we can learn all about you as a couple. We want to know what makes you crazy about each other, and what you are looking forward to most in your marriage. Remember, this meeting is a two way street. We also want you to be able to ask us anything and everything about our services and who we are as people.

We think we can speak for just about anyone when we say that getting married is a huge deal. If you are like us, you’ve probably been dreaming about your wedding day for a long time. As we’ve said before, you will spend more time with your photographer than your fiance on your wedding day so it benefits you to like them and for them to like you.

And you know what the best part is? If you don’t mesh with us, that’s ok! We don’t require any sort of extra cost for our meeting. The only thing that will set you back if you don’t book with us is the price of a cup of coffee, and trust us, if we go to Bongo Java, you won’t regret the cup of coffee. It’s just too good!

The Take Away…
Whether you’re here because you are considering booking with us or you just want to know what to look for in a great photographer, remember that it is important to have an in-person meeting with your photographer. Emails are great. We use them all the time. However, the computer takes the human interaction out of the equation, and our computer isn’t the one that is going to show up at your wedding to take the most important pictures of your life!
