A few months ago, I went on vacation to my favorite city. Charleston was an absolute dream! I love this city so much! The first time I visited was over a year ago with Chelsea. It was love at first sight! The city is absolutely gorgeous. Downtown Charleston is my favorite place. I could wander for hours just snapping pictures. I love the pastel colored homes, cute entryways, old southern buildings, Spanish moss, and the beautiful flowers and greenery that line every side street. I love that the city is filled with so much history. One of my main goals on this trip was to show my husband how amazing this city is! (I’m in the process of trying to convince my husband to move there, but I’ve had no luck.) However, I did get him to agree to let me buy a vacation house there one day! #lifegoals

Every inch of this city is so unique and full of southern charm. The plantations, like in the picture above, are so fun to visit. I kept telling JP how I would love to photograph a couple at Boone’s Hall plantation. The long driveway lined with oak trees and Spanish moss would be such a dreamy background for an engagement session… If you ever need a photographer to travel to Charleston for a session, then I’m your girl! Most importantly, if you have yet to make a trip to Charleston, then you need to go! I promise you will fall in love.
