Gosh, I could brag on Nick & Macy all day long! We had a little bit of trouble scheduling this engagement session around the holidays, unexpected allergy attacks, and crazy work schedules, but let me tell you, when these two showed up at our location, our jaws dropped! They looked incredible, and once the nerves faded away, they worked it! I don’t think we’ve ever laughed that much on a session! It was so much fun! 

Nick and Macy met working at a publishing company here in Nashville hence the reason for the books scattered throughout the images. We live for the little details so adding in a little something special with the books was a fun challenge. I can’t wait to see how Macy keeps the book theme going throughout her wedding planning process.

Following the book theme, we not only got to shoot at the beautiful Vanderbilt University, but we also headed to the local Barnes and Noble! Macy said many of their dates consist on wandering through the aisles at various bookstores… talk about an intellectual couple! I must say, shooting at a popular bookstore in the middle of Nashville on Christmas Eve Eve was a very interesting, comical, and challenging experience, but I’m glad we did it!

Needless to say, after this shoot, we are so excited for Nick & Macy’s wedding! Thank you to Nick and Macy for trusting us with this wonderful honor!! See you soon!
