Burgundy and Navy Firefly Lane Chapel Wedding

Weddings

The anticipation builds as the maid of honor walks down the last part of the aisle and takes her place at the front of the chapel. The old, wooden barn doors close. The air grows thick. The music softly wafts out of the speakers. His hands rub together. His feet shuffle back and forth with nervous excitement. The crescendo continues to build and build until the music hits its peak and the heavy doors swing open.

You could hear a pin drop until he starts to laugh. Not just a small snicker, but a loud belly laugh of complete and udder joy! His burst of happiness didn’t stop until she was down the aisle and standing near. There wasn’t a dry eye in the quaint little white chapel.

Leah and Alexis are such a sweet, kind, thoughtful couple. They may be young, but there is no denying their love is strong. It was such a pleasure to work with them through this wedding process. We loved feeling all of the joy and excitement they and their friends and families exuded on their wedding day. We also selfishly loved Alexis’ suit choice. That color looked amazing on him and was such a unique change to what we typically see grooms choose to wear. A+, nuestro amigo!

We also loved the food at the reception!

Y’all, made to order specialty pizzas and tacos! We went to our happy places!! That is all we need to say!

Seriously, despite the rain, it was such a fun day. We are so thankful that our job allows us to meet such sweet people. We even had three C&H couples at the reception, which is so special to us!

Leah and Alexis, we are excited to continue to cheer for you from the sidelines. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead for you!

Sending Hugs,

Chelsea and Hannah
