I woke up to rolling thunder at 4:30am the morning of Renae and Lukas’ wedding. Although that made me slightly nervous, I knew we would and could handle anything the day threw at us! To my surprise, despite some mean looking clouds, the storms dried up and we had a beautiful Summer wedding at The Chapel at Firefly Lane.

Renae chose the perfect Summer colors for a bright, fun wedding day. There was so much excitement in the air as everyone prepared for the first look. The groom even surprised the bride by shedding a few tears! I don’t think she was expecting that!

With the start of our friendship, driving through a field of Longhorns at their engagement session, we knew this wedding would be lighthearted and fun. It sure was!

They even played one of my (Chelsea’s) favorite wedding songs as they cut the cake! (Dolly Parton’s Marry Me). It’s so hard to contain myself and just take photos when a good song comes on!
