Oh to be young again! Photographing McClain and Marleigh made me reminisce on the days when I was both a little girl and a high school senior (two very different stages, I know). However, each stage was so significant. Sometimes I wish I could go back to the days when I was Marleigh’s age. I loved playing dress up and wearing bows, ruffles, and lots of pink. Heck, some days I still love wearing ruffles and lots of pink…Those were the days. When I was six, I didn’t have a care in the world. My biggest dilemma at that age was figuring out how I would eat all of my vegetables at the dinner table!
I don’t think about being a high school senior as often. However, my senior year at school was so fun and such a huge milestone in my life. From prom, to taking the ACT, to college applications, to choosing a career path, it is a stressful yet rewarding year! Graduating from high school is a big deal! It is one step towards becoming an adult.
I LOVED being able to photograph these two. Not only were they extremely good listeners, but they were both so photogenic. Congratulations, McClain on graduating from high school! It was so nice getting to meet you and your little sister. Your family is awesome! You are awesome, and we wish you all the luck in the world! Thank you for trusting Chelsea and I to take your pictures! We pray that God will continue to bless your life so that you may do the same for others!
