Chelsea and I were a little nervous on the day of Batey and Ian’s engagement session. The weather for that day showed a severe thunderstorm heading for Franklin, Tennessee at the exact time we were supposed to be in the middle of Batey and Ian’s session. Knowing it would be hard for all four of us to reschedule, we said a quick prayer and decided to go for it, and we are so glad that we did! Thankfully, the storm went around us, and we didn’t see a drop of rain that evening!

Photographing Batey and Ian’s engagement session at Ravenswood Mansion in Franklin, Tennessee was such fun, and Ravenswood Mansion is so beautiful! We love old, southern architecture. Plus, Ravenswood’s wrap around porches with its light blue, painted ceilings reminded us of Charleston, which is our absolute favorite place!

Batey and Ian, we loved getting to hang out with you both! You guys look amazing in all of these pictures! We can’t wait to see you two all dressed up in a few weeks for your wedding!
