Trust us, we love the computer age as much as the next guy, but more recently, we’ve begun to remember back to the simpler times when we had actual photos that we held in our hands to flip through. We’ve started to make it a priority to print off our work more often and hang up our memories in our homes, and we encourage you to do the same.
Let’s be honest, we don’t control social media. Although we love using those apps as a scrapbook of sorts, the higher ups of Facebook and Instagram could change the apps tomorrow if they wanted to, which means if we don’t save our photos in other ways, we could be disappointed when we lose our feeds one day.
Below we’ve outlined two ways we’ve begun to catalog our photos off of our computer. We hope we can inspire you to do the same!

01. The Gallery Wall. We love a good collage wall. If you have an empty space that needs some artwork, instead of going out to the local Home Goods, pull out your Instagram feed and print your favorite moments to hang together in frames. You could even use your top nine from 2017! We call this wall the “Hall of fame” in my family. You’re doing really well if you make it into one of those frames!

02. The Album. There’s a big misconception out there that the only time to buy a professional album is when you get married. We love the idea of making albums for all kinds of occasions. I (Chelsea) have started to make an album for each trip I take. The one pictured is from my first trip to New York City. I love putting it on my bookshelf or coffee table for people to flip through when they visit. I’m excited to create another album in about a month after my trip to Charleston! Although albums are a great way to commemorate trips, they can also be used for yearly family photos. You can collect them as your family grows!

We hope we’ve inspired you to go back in time with us and print some of your favorite photos!
